B: may be more concerned why there is a heavily armoured mech in a secure area smashing stuff, no matter what you say
I was a sec officer’s brain implanted into a mech, I was there getting weapons installed, the warden was next to me while Gukle printed them. You can’t examine people while in/as a mech so you can’t get the flavour text, but they had red eyes in a cult round and were repeatedly ignoring attempts to save their boss and a member of command.
There’s an obvious argument I should’ve used my disabler which has some merit, and to be honest I just didn’t think of it because I still had that gamer adrenaline going from shitting on two space pirates, but as a lone brain-in-a-mech with no handcuff option and limited abilities to information-gather, someone dressed as the warden with red eyes ignoring their dead boss in the next room and faffing around with corpses on the floor in the middle of a breached brig was suspect as fuck to me.
Never mind, I went back and checked, I didn’t HAVE a disabler. We repeatedly tried to print one but it’s only in the robotics lathe, not the security lathe, so we settled for a tesla cannon instead (I didn’t choose that).
Warden here. I actually didnt hear anything what you said when you were in the sec office area. Regarding the red eyes: I think I got them with the xray implant (not sure though, my character doesnt have red eyes by default) but I definitely had them for some time. Even when we were standing tohether next to the 3D-printer. You dont think someone else would have noticed if those were unnatural? Like at all? So yeah, I dont know why you shot down that “incredibly dumb” Warden other than for questionable entertainment value for your stream. (Also, if the red eyes were a real concern of yours, why didnt you act sooner on it?)
I stream for like 5-6 hours a day, I’ve gladly streamed consecutive shifts as lawyer doing literally nothing but typing and narrating it, if you have some delusion that shooting a dude for 3 seconds out of a 6 hour stream is some kind of streaming content windfall that anyone reasonable would go out of their way to do you’re actually stupid as hell. I regularly play 0TC traitor on-stream, I don’t even meme with antag gear. I get more viewers playing games other than SS13, if I was worried about creating maximum entertainment I’d just play something else. My decisionmaking had literally nothing to do with streaming and I’d appreciate it if you’d fuck off with that idea. I stream the game because I personally enjoy the game, I played more than 200 hours on bee before I started streaming it and I still play multiple shifts per week off-stream.
I 100% agree that it was a bad shoot in hindsight, I just think the 3-day ban was overboard and the accusation that I was doing it for stream content was some bullshit, so it staying as a note is totally fine with me
