Description:ran around shouting reject society and praise monkey ole while destroying things near end of the round destroyed the machine in bar that holds empty glasses and stuff was actively just being a shitter for no reason was apparently not a valid in anyway and actively had no reason to destroy things apart from griefing
you weren’t “pretending to be a monkey” monkeys dont shout “reject society” and “praise monkey ole” also you were human not monkey and fact is you were griefing by destroying things you then justify it in discord by claiming its “useless” considering I had been using it and other people also do its literally not useless it actively has a use its also in MRP you destroying things randomly or because your “pretending to be a monkey” isnt MRP if you want to do stupid things like that LRP exists for a reason

again, this rule is for the antags, which I wasn’t, and even if I was, there is a line there about “Try to avoid unnecessary carnage that ultimately just ruins the round for other players”. Breaking a fancy dishwasher does not ruin your round.
yeah this is essentially my whole deal with the report. Even then I was doing it in character. I didn’t go behind the counter to destroy the drink dispensers, all I did was break your extremely high-tech dishwasher. My whole shtick that round was anarcho-primitivism combined with an internet meme which has got to be the absolute most brain dead political view of all time.
Arguable the rules I “violated” were rules 4 and 5.
Rule 4 being “You must roleplay” and rule 5 being “No self antag”.
Let’s start with rule 4.
I was in fact roleplaying, even if it was a 6 IQ roleplay. I was self-consistent in my actions, did not go beyond to ruin a round, and generally had a shtick I was doing for the round.

If I was actually tiding as the guy claims I was, I probably would’ve destroyed his drink machines and shit. I just find it really funny for a guy to be absolutely pro anarachy and absolutely anti technology on a futuristic space station.
that may be what LRP is for, but that’s not how it is in practice. On MRP there are rules that say think before you act which allow me to be stupid and dumb if I want. On LRP I would literally just be fucking shot for breaking something, which shouldn’t happen on MRP. (Now you actually did fucking shoot me for breaking your dishwasher, but I digress)

Honestly if you didin’t even chuckle you should go to a HRP server.This man was roleplaying as a retard and last time I checked you MUST roleplay on MRP though maybe not as a retard. If you consider breaking the most useless machine as griefing and self antag you should visit lrp for a few rounds to see what griefing and self antag really is.
Your character is a grown adult working on a research station for a major company. You are a professional. Act like it.
Please do not role-play in intentionally disruptive, borderline griefing ways. Clown/Mime get the biggest pass on this since their jobs are to entertain and light-grief players, especially each other. Chaplain gets a pass for religious reasons and still gets some flak for it if they go overboard, similar extension for those following a chaplain’s lead… and again within reasonable limits.

To quote you from a thread you made in the general board, No you can’t do these things outside of entertainment/gimmick roles; you are expected to be a professional that Nanotransen hired. If you want to RP as a chaotic madman, go to LRP but make sure you follow the validity rules.
