I am fairly good at C++, I see that monstermos was ported over, and that’s C++ so if you need any pointers(no pun intended) please do ask.

I’ve played for 2 years or so.
How long have you been playing BeeStation?:
A long time ago was when I first joined… I dabbled on the server for awhile, but migrated to servers with lower ping. I don’t think I’ll need a low ping to answer tickets hah. I recently moved back because orangesz is getting too remove happy. BeeStation code is much more fun.

This is not limited to SS13: Yes. I am a sysadmin for my day job actually. I’ve moderated for multiple WoW and CoH private servers. I just enjoy answering tickets… I guess I’m a masochist. As for SS13, I’ve only been admin on my server, but I am familiar with the tools.

Your strengths:
I’m fairly relaxed(smoke enough weed to tranquilize a horse), so don’t expect any rash decisions out of me. I have a fair deal of knowledge of the game, and I absolutely love helping people. Speaking of which, I am a people person. I understand that there’s a human being behind each of those ckey’s; even if they don’t feel the same way.
Your weaknesses:
I smoke a lot of weed. Like really, it’s becoming a problem. In all actuality though, I can’t really say if I have weaknesses because that would be incredibly subjective. I’m all for constructive criticism though!

What do you think is the most important trait for a staff member to have?: Patience.
What makes a staff team good?:
A good staff member generally gathers as much information about an issue(if there is one), and then acts properly. Acting on impulse won’t get you very far. Generally, just be a humble, patient, and caring individual even if the person you’re speaking to isn’t(ticket wise).
What is a staff team’s purpose?:
Hard question, depends on what the staff member’s position is. If they are a Headmin then their staff’s purpose is to moderate and inform. Usually I rely on my fellow staff member’s for knowledge in dealing with tickets I don’t really know how to deal with. For example, In WoW someone had reported someone else for stealing an item. Problem was that the guy who stole the item formed the raid, and he stated that he reserved the item for himself. I didn’t really know what to do at that point in time because the item in question was valuable. So, I asked higher up in the chain, and solved the ticket accordingly. That’s just one example of a staff team’s use.
What kind of player are you?:
Relax’d, I generally play Botanist or Engineer. I like watching things work after I’ve made them.
How do you think you will change once you become a staff member?: I hope I will change for the better!

Nothing, that seems like an IC issue.
A non-antagonist is sabotaging the Atmospherics loop and pumping plasma into the distro, along with dragging around a canister and releasing it into the atmosphere. Assuming that another admin is cleaning up the after-effects, how do you conduct the ahelp with him?:
I’d check his notes to see if he’s done this before. After that I’d ask why he was plasma-flooding, and I’d punish according to his past notes.
A chemist who is working alone accidentally mixes an explosive mixture inside of his chem dispenser, instantly killing himself and destroying the machine, along with exposing Chemistry to space. Nobody else was injured aside from him as a result of his actions. What do you do?:
Nothing it was on accident, and again this seems like an IC issue.
