Why did I get banned in place of this guy?
This is probably a false stickyban. Do you use a VPN at all? Sometimes that makes this sort of thing happen, if you’re connecting from the same IP as a banned guy.
Either way, it should be pretty quick to resolve.
No, I don’t use VPNs.
griefer might have used the same IP as you then using their VPN.
Did you connect to that CID grabber VG hub server or something? Griffman used some sort of overlapping info of yours.
Or do you have a prebuilt PC from Wal-Mart or something?
A lot of those have identical CIDs.
