Killed someone for picking up their heirostaff. Attacked first with a bone axe. Then, after being fought back, murdered the person who stole it. Has many many many notes on things like this. Appeal on beestation13.com.

wow getting banned for protecting your property, there was this ipc(nword) miner on lrp(about 20min round) that looked as if he didnt mine at all that round walking by evac hallway, and me like a chad miner that just killed miner, hiiero and drake was goin to get boh, but this retard decides to stalk me and proceed to open my tendril chest to steal my hierophant staff and then try to run away with it, after i tell him to stop. You might think this behaivour should not be accepted and nor do I, so i proceed to chop his chest with a bone axe(weilded) and crit him to about -180, after that i walk away and i hear BOWINK! so i be like: wew, anyway the guy also tried using the staff on me but because he plays ipc i manage to dodge like a chad human.

fucking jew unban me this shit is unbelievable, banning me on both servers even if its just for 3days.
Just a word of advice, if you want to have an admin consider your appeal, it might be a good idea to avoid insulting them in the same breath.
Also, to be fair, if you got banned for this on LRP you should also be banned for this on MRP considering the higher standards. Being server banned on Golden isn’t an invitation to migrate to Sage to continue causing problems.

Common, easily replaced items can be stolen from another player without escalation to self antagonising behaviour and are an IC issue.
Uncommon items that can be quickly replaced should not be escalated to OOC, but if it is a direct inconvenience or they have no purpose to steal said item, it may be treated as self antag.
Rare or unique items such as the Wardens krav maga gloves, compact combat shotgun, or traitor objectives, are always self antagonising when stolen from someone or for no reason, unless there is an immediate purpose or need to steal said item. If the player cannot provide a valid reason, it is self antagonising behaviour. In the event the victim is walking around with it out, then it is not self antag if they are shoved over and drop it, unless they are actively using it and there is not a more pressing need for the tool
megafauna drop is obviously rare item

I dont know that killing him was a good course of action, even in the case of that rule. If he was walking around the station with it out, and he got shoved and dropped it, then its not self antagging, according to the rule, seeing as if they are on the station, they will not be actively using it, nor is there a pressing need for the tool. Once the dude was crit, he could have taken him to medbay and left him there. It sounds like escalation was entirely on his end, which would still make him at fault. Along with that, heiro staff is not a antag objective (can you imagine if it was?) so the player wasnt valid to kill. I dont think a 3 day ban is over kill. Personally, i think it should have been a single day ban, but I also am not an admin, and dont know the ban standards.
Br#h i had it on my chest(only moment i used it on the station was to mark a recall on cargo mining), and he decides to stalk me after i told him to stop, open the chest without my permission, steal the club and walk away, ngl but he was retarded to do something like that and it was not overescalation, i killed a valid player and thats the end of that.
Bastian was just too fucking r#tarded on the ahelps, always telling me that i killed him and that i attacked first(even if he did not provoke me physically, he did stalk me and if you know me ic, i am not unrobust and unaware), not considering that by stealing the rare item he became valid, i had all the rights to kill him and maybe even destroy his posi-brain so he couldnt come back.
I’m no fan of overescalation in most situations, but to break down my thoughts on this:
Bruce was not simply wielding his staff on the station to be shoved, the item was stored in a container that Bruce clearly owned.
The staff is definitely qualified for a rare item to me, even if it’s not a traitor objective item, and it’s one he had to fight + brave dangerous conditions to obtain and not replaceable.
This makes it theft of a high rarity item from another player, and makes the thieving player valid.
I would like to think he shouldn’t be left for dead, but they sound like a shitter to me if Bruce can be believed on their intentions and actions leading up to the theft.
Here’s the thing. Going off of logs, you were shoved then you attacked him. From a log perspective, just that seems ech. However, you do bring valid points. I’ll leave this with a unban.
