let’s address assistants

assistants have no job, and are required to answer to everyone - does this include helping antags of a higher rank?
does this mean they can help sec if they chose?
is it powergaming if assistants go after antags simply because they’re not sec?
what is okay for assistants to do and what is not okay

i understand like, an engineer or a medical doctor going after antags or making mechs isn’t cool, but what about assistants? what are the limits and situational limits of tiders?

Tiding is not their official job as much as people think it is. Assistants are aligned with crew and should not be helping antags. They are meant to be training under departments or just providing random services. smh my head
