Anyone else experiencing unusable machines on bee?

Vending machines, computers, even handheld tablets and crayons… anything with an interface. It just doesn’t work sometimes, and it can take moving away and back, swapping hands, or even needing to outright relaunch the game to get the interfaces to appear.

Anyone else having this?

Also… anyone have a fix?

happens to me all the time, i just run like 25 blocks away then run back and it works.
but when its the crafting menu or something like that, i gotta rejoin. idk why it happens

I recently tried using the sleeper and it opened something in internet explorer I thought that was hillarious

there is a fix for the 3 different variations

the internet explorer bug thing is fixed by closing the window and re-openign the machine

the white screen bug is fixed by clearing cache

the crafting menu not being closable is fixed by getting a bigger monitor pressing the reconnect button

To fix try this:

  1. open some other machines interface and then use the main machine again.
  2. run away far enough and run back to it.
  3. wait
  4. reconnect

This is mostly because byond uses IE for those windows. I cleared the cache and it somewhat got fixed.

Works on my machine.

Edit: ah I found solution the the issue here,

link to broken website since 2006 where someone else has the same issue and thread has no replies apart from one deleted post. Forum requires you to register and make thirty posts before able to see threads that might have a solution.

This is getting really frustrating. Needing to reconnect every 15 seconds to program nanites is a son of a bitch.

Open another machines menu, open your pda, crafting menu, whatever. Then click on the “not working” one again.

Can confirm what BarrelBox suggested usually works for me.

It doesn’t do this on the version of hornet I downloaded earlier this month to test shit on, so I’m pretty sure some new update did this.
