All of our players are leaving, the most experienced ones anyway. Tian, Hangy, I can name more but don’t care. The issue is the lack of influx of new players. No new tide is coming to fill up our player base. We need another streamer or youtuber to come along and save us all

Always a pain seeing the players we’ve grown used to playing with leave.
But just like how it was last year, there’ll always be new players ready to fill in the gap that the older players have left behind.

I’m just going to throw this out there, because I think that @Ruko has a really great point when he has tried to push it in the past, but - if you don’t like the Sage policies - play on Golden.
I know it’s not as simple as that, as despite recent efforts - and it is getting better -, there are still large swaths of time without admins. There’s also a pervasive “lmao it’s LRP deal with it” attitude, but again - it’s getting better and thanks to player reports, big props to the admins that put in the work with them, the worst of those offenders have been getting sorted out.
What’s more than that - we would love to have you. We want you to play with us. The lowpop blues are real.

its weird the servers seem like they randomly spike for a week then drop really low to around 20 pop when they are normally 40-60, also there was a twomad clip where he talked about ss13 that I would link here but he says nword and they will ban me if I sent it
Point me to anyone using this. 9 out of 10 times, what they’re doing is against the rules and this is used to convince you that you shouldn’t get an admin involved.
2. Be Excellent to Each Other
Be patient with other players and assist them when you can. Especially new ones.

It brings in people- and as much as we hate new players who are fucking stupid, sometimes they make great players. We were all new once
In essentialism- ss13 is toxic and crude on the exterior with little tiny pockets of amazing wonderful people who you’ll love working with and talking to about anything and everything and they’ll make playing fun. It’s finding those pockets to the amazing interior before the toxic makes you leave that’s an issue

Just because something is toxic doesn’t mean you should throw your own toxicity in the mix. Most people feel the opposite, though, and would rather just use SS13 as an outlet for all their rage and insecurities.
