Yknow, I’d agree war doesn’t have a properly justifiable reason.
But the fact that technological advancements come from it, the fact it trains humanity to fight better in the event aliens come and blow up our planet with a single gigantic deathbeam, and the fact that it’s basically just a larger scale version of unga bunga lads fighting dinosaurs and wild animals, makes it have some for of justification to exist. Especially when you account for the fact that it wouldn’t be okay for anyone to start culling excess lives when we get closer and closer to overpopulation. War has it’s uses, not all morally acceptable by every point of view, but it does have a reason to exist.
The thing Kev posted though? Nah it doesn’t.
If it was the lass who gave birth to minotaur, it might’ve had a reason to exist, but it isn’t, so it doesn’t really.

Are you really going to defend war which causes massive death and suffering on scales never seen before to justify things like preparing for alien invasions of all things. Yet a drawn picture is what gets to you?
Obviously I cannot share pictures here of it, but go ahead and google things like ‘dead syrian children gas attack’ and tell me which of the two is worse.

The picture literally doesn’t have a purpose outside of stuff for complete degenerates to get off to.
Also I don’t think chemical attacks would be helpful against aliens, so don’t assume I include that within the list of war-involved improvements.
Edit: Btw that means I’m not saying ALL war is beneficial, just that in general when war goes on long enough, humanity gains from it due to the decisions to make better technology and other fields of improvement.

Just to clarify tho; the problem was never the picture in of itself, but the fact that he did not get instant permaban, like a regular member of the community would, and that he even banned kate for calling him out.
How could he even get a instant perm ban? He was the discord server owner at the time. Which he recently handed over but until then nothing could be done. As for the game server he technically had the rights to that and even the patreon. He couldn’t get banned before handing those over even if he wanted to get banned.
No, but I do believe a player posting that kind of content would have had a way harsher punishment with the current rules. Even more so if an admin found it particularly problematic.
I’m sure Kevster made plenty of contributions to the server, and did not deserve to be canned. People just asked for it in an attempt to make the one-offense-get-canned a little more flexible (which did work in a way).
But why is Bee suddenly against ERP. There was no intense ERP going on, and as far as I know no complaints from greater authority (BYOND, Discord, whatever), so why the sudden push?
Nobody would have gotten an instant permaban for that. A softban and a warning? Absolutely. Instant and permanent removal from the community? No. I don’t know where you’re getting the idea that we just perma anyone and everyone for first offenses, but we have a pretty long history showing that we give people second chances for almost anything (obvious exceptions exist, mostly surrounding actual ERP and cases where we think someone could be a danger to themselves or others)
He banned Kate for harassment. Baselessly calling someone a pedophile multiple times after being repeatedly asked to stop is a bannable offense.
Stop trying to twist the situation into something it’s not.

Nobody would have gotten an instant permaban for that.
I mean, let’s say, hypothetically, someone posted this or a similar image link in OOC, I think there’s a high chance he would have been slapped with an ERP ban. I did not mean removal from the community. Discord is a little bit more iffy I hear, if you don’t moderate the server properly you risk getting shut down.

Kate has erm… A unique way of approaching each situation. Regardless, posting a loli impregnated with shoats kind of makes you valid for a little harassment. I don’t think kate went overboard with this one.

Pornhub also knowingly hosts illegal content and refuses to take it down when reported. Using Pornhub as an example is a terrible idea.
This happens all the time. The industry is shady enough but to welcome user-uploaded content to it and then refuse to properly police it is inexcusable. I love you Kain but please stop trying to use the PH defense here and please don’t use that site or those like it either.
