Aeder trespasses into cargo, gets shoved and retaliates with no weapon for a while
Velvet continues shoving, and otherwise using no-damage moves against him, Aeder continues to fight back with punches
Small break occurs where I assume Aeder pulls the chainsaw out
Velvet shoves one more time at the same time they get hit with a chainsaw still turned off
Velvet responds with a screwdriver to the eyes, Aeder turns chainsaw on.

Turns out in a game of Fist, screwdriver, chainsaw… Chainsaw wins.

Pointing out for clarity here: the first two attacks with the chainsaw here are with it turned off as a warning, hence the ~10 damage hits. You will notice where it gets turned on after i start having my eyes gouged by the screwdriver by the sudden ~30 hp drops to velvet.

I would’ve explained or chatted happily, if you hadn’t dropped cable cuffs when shoving me originally spooking me into fleeing.

In addition you will notice my positioning in the logs, where I stand practically still, while you continue to charge at a moff who has a running chainsaw, also reflected in the 5 second or so breaks during the sawings where you run back and forth as if I was chasing your or something, and not standing in a far off corner going into the maint access where the xenos turned out to be. ¯\ _ (ツ) _ /¯

Oh also, why did you have a chainsaw next to you in cargo on a green shift?

The argument of, “Why did you have it?” isn’t a good one since you were the one to try and steal it. Why would you steal a chainsaw on a greenshift? I mentioned in ahelps how I used the chainsaw to kill moneys for bounties (getting eyes, tongue, ect.)

And for the, “It was a warning attack,” doesn’t add up with your previous aggression. You had punched first, continued to punch and use lethal force while I stayed passive. When you hit with the chainsaw off, how was I meant to know it was a warning even though you were the only one using lethal force? Please answer that; I believe you to be lying.

Continuing, why leave someone you, “Warned,” to die on the floor instead of taking them to medical? Taken into the fact you were the only one to use lethal force, I believe this to be attempted murder and should be treated as such.

Leading onto my next point about my, as you put it, “Continued assault,” I used different words but all the same. For me, there was a hostile person stealing Cargo supplies inside the department my character worked in. I yelled for security over comms (no one’s shown that, sadly) then proceeded to detain the hostile person, in this case you.

The fact you are not showing signs of sorrow and that you believe yourself to be in the right is sickening and to think you are a member of staff. I could only think of what would happen if I was to run into your kitchen, steal your knife, then when you tried to non-lethally get me out, I murder you. I’m guessing you would believe I was in the right and ignore that, no?

In-short, you are a horrible person.

I won’t go into the breaking into cargo etc, but to attack the cargo staff when so far it was only pushes

So adder escalated the situation, picked up a chainsaw and hit him with it as a “warning” of don’t get in my way I’m grey tiding, and if I was hit by chainsaw I wouldn’t take it as warning in heat of moment, all I’d see is attacked with chainsaw

I’m joking around with that fake account thing; gonna state that before someone comes along and screeches.

I’m aware of this, and the fact I made this post is already me giving my opinion, in a since already a plus one for the public opinion. Can’t give two.

I just wanted to get the ball rolling because this person shouldn’t be in a position of power inside the Bee Station community if they are going to self-antag so blatantly – at least go to LRP if you want to RDM and stay around longer.

I’ve given my full opinion on the matter with my, “Wall-of-Text dear God why does it go on forever?” post, in which I give more detail and my feelings and the in-the-moment analysis.

Hopefully a big-boy admin will come along and give the final (solution) say, soon.

As Xlyana already said, an internal discussion is on-going with the head admins. Once they’ve decided how to proceed we’ll update the thread.

If you want my first glance opinions, it looks like Aeder might have messed up here. But, we’ll know for certain after we dig into the report a bit more.

Ngl chief, you can always just kill the monkey with any regular, sharp thing and then skin them when they die, or surgically remove every organ they have, instead of making a ~30 damage two-handed weapon that could lead to this.

Also for what I read; Aeder was in cargo for what reason again? I assume Velvet was QM or Cargo tech or some shit but the fuck was Aeder and why was he tryna break into Cargo?

If it was in order to retrieve the chainsaw for no reason other than “I see it, therefore I want it”, that’s a cringe move.

If there was an inmediate threat (confirmed antag wise), then it’d make some sense but most people would still rather get stuff from Armory.
