Incident Description:
i join, ooc muted by aeder for god knows what reason,when ooc is oppened again someone says the full n word, aeder bans him and asks anyone more?, someone responds nigeria and another ni, after seeing that clusterfuck of a powertrip i say N- to what aeder bans me for “bypass” wich is fake, after being called out in the forums changed the ban reason completelly to fir another different history and closed the appeal literally every headmin that posted there agreed on being removed, closed it whitout headmin imput thats it.
Additional Information: why is aeder admin and who the hell decided to put that power hungry lil shit on power, his whole existence gravitates toowards ruining other peoples days or rounds, and has racked up up to 10 reports if i counted correctly, shields himself behind the rules and toes the line as he likes changing the ban reason completelly if his argument is removed, like that time that banned someone for "having a shotgun and using it to tide on mrp" then changed it to "powergaming" when the shotgun was proven to be forcefoam.
as i said in the discord where you where too dented to read, i said N , n is the 14th letter of the alphabet originated from latin and used in many lenguajes also originated from latin, N can be used for many things like nations, nostrils, narval, no, neat, nitroglicerine. and many more!, i could have just sliped my finger and pressed enter who knows, thing is aeder banned me second latter whitout bwoink and also closed a appeal following the admin conduct really poorly as he needs headmin aproval, from this your “response” seeking for salt makes no sense or has no place as this is a report for a serious thing.
As you presented the context, you can easily tell that the message “N-” was supposed to imply that you have tried to say [the n word] but you have stopped on the first letter.
Admins, among other things, have this unfortunate task of keeping OOC chat from being a shitfest and you with your HaHa fUnNy BlAcK mAn wOrd bait are not helping.
I admit that this note may not perfectly describe what you have done, but I think it’s valid to note you for that nonetheless.
This isn’t something that I’d take his admin perms away tho
alright then how about we talk about him closing a ban appeal without input from another admin (granted he lifted the ban and idk how it works with that but still)
Thanks so much man, was gonna post a complaint myself. Dude didn’t even glance at the logs or give me a chance to respond, even though it says that I am typing.
While bans may be given in error or a miscall by the admin, admin reports need some kind of accusation of admin conduct break. If it is something that is a unique situation not covered by admin conduct, then you can still make a claim that there was some form of abuse.
Regardless of opinions on the N- ban, there is logic behind it that makes it not just a hit case. A group of people were actively toeing the line on the server where any mention of slurs is prohibited. Claiming that there was no relation to the N word is a hollow argument with the full context, even if the ban was unneeded or severe.
Since this is an admin report, not really weighing in on the ban itself. As for admin conduct, there is a council ruling in place (Written poorly and not transferred to any ruling page AFAIK)
Apparently, admins can close appeals to their bans without input from other admins. I think this is bollocks

That said, completely lifting a ban is kinda of a dumb way to enforce this. Ive mistaken given out bans that weren’t needed or justified and removed them. If an appeal is made and my intention is to remove it due to a misunderstanding or poor judgement, it should be done quickly and without a second person’s opinion. That said, it is still technically a rule regardless of my interpretation.
Ultimately to keep after the closed topic, post in the other admin report. This specific report could use a more concrete accusation other than a disagreement with a ban.
That ban appeal was… approved? Did you want the appeal to stay open so another admin can show up and shut down the player?
It is technically against policy to close without further input, but given that the appeal was approved rather than denied I don’t see a reason not to take action as soon as possible unless we want to stop admins from taking back harsh action and acting quickly to remove the ban?
Caecillius did something similar in the past and another person gave them the idea that “hey what if they want the note or whatever taken off the record and they can appeal that” so that’s moreso the intention.
(that and i exist somewhere between true neutral and lawful neutral)
Notes can only be appealed if the offense didn’t take place at all. If the offense occurred, the note stays even if the ban is appealed and removed.
There is no question whether or not Xeapor disconnected without alerting admins right now? I suppose there is if the claim is that logs weren’t even checked. I understand the complaint now
then… change the note to reflet it in a way that doesnt make me look like a n word spaming retard, literally that simple instead of saying “no” and closing the appeal.

Seeing people getting banned for continued bypassing and asking if anyone else wanted to join in followed up with

N-ger. Would be a bypass. Just face it this is a horrible ban. You banned a person for saying N. 2 people decided to support your reasoning which I have no idea why. At the end of the thread you drop this
When in fact the majority were unfavoring the ban. You closed it when serious concerns and common sense were brung foward. This is not my server but I will say, if you allow game admins and TRIAL ADMINS to close their own appeals you’re literally giving them the ability to cut of democracy and voiding fair ban appeals.
Let me put this in perspective for you
Mentors(3) x Players(2): Agrees that the ban is stupid
An Ex-HeadminAdmin(1) x Admins(3): Agrees that the ban is stupid
Players (2) x Banning Admin (Aeder): Says the ban is good and kosher
Head-admins(2) x Lead Developer(1) x Vexylius(Admin): Indifferent or just didn’t voice their opinion
All together regardess of rank it is 9 to 3 (3 N/A). How it is fair to close the thread and why did you neglect to leave it open despite it barely being open for a day?
You can count most of staff that didn’t respond to the thread yet as neutral as well (such as myself before now). This has been pinged in the discord at least twice with most people who have responded there having no strong opinion on the matter and opting to not post… since posting you have no opinion rarely offers anything to the thread.
I think the all the notes could be corrected because this wasn’t filter bypass so much as it was several players trying to (or perceived as trying to) push the admin’s buttons intentionally. “HA HA LOOK AT ME I ALMOST SAID THE FUNNY GAMER WORD, BUT I DIDN’T” in the context of others having been just banned for the same thing is poking the lion any way you look at it. In this specific context, saying N- isn’t different from saying Nibba or Nigeria. The same goes for others who were banned for “bypass” if this is the case. They weren’t using the words with any intent other than to evoke a reaction.
Respect the rules, respect the admins and stop being a little shit and then crying foul when you get a tiny slap on the wrist for being a little shit.

Notes for all involved players not quite accurate, but trying to provoke admins intentionally is definitely playing stupid games.
I am neutral on the ban itself. I understand Aeder’s logic and realistically it was only a 15 minutes ban, however personally I would not have gone in for it. I also understand the principle in fighting the note and ban though. I’m against the admin report however, that’s kinda dumb.
I, however, am only senior boi and effectively have the same power as a normal min with different color name. I cannot overrule a ban, nor is it my place to.
