Adding the ability to respawn as a Prisoner after dying

Title, should have some drawbacks so it doesn’t get abused like one time use and the prison must be functional and have x amount of cops. Antag objectives gets removed and cannot remember old memories.

So like new space ruin where you can spawn as prisoner and other can spawn as guards? Or you just want to spawn in perma, which already makes for an easy escape?

If it’s not in space, there would be a lot of metagrudge. Hotel staff already has had problems with that because they have access to the station.

I mean it can turn out to be like the gamemode of Jailbreak in gmod where it’s rp in a prison with guards and a warden n shit.

There were already admin events focused around jailbreaking.

Edit: One team had to get the person alive from perma, other had to kill it, while sec was trying to stop both of them.

spawning as prisoner on sage with drawbacks is sure fun to roleplay with.

It would probably require a soft/hard coded drawback to not just make it a free respawn with certain conditions like the permabrig not being breached via EVA and possibly the warden/HoS being able to toggle a switch that turns the spawner off (if all the doors/walls of perma are broken for example)

For the hardcoded idea, possibly a explosive implant that gibs the prisoner if they leave the permabrig without there sec record being updated, or a soft one like the hotel staff where they get banned for leaving.
