so this poll is about if you would like the very extensive wound system, basically instead of getting hurt applying patch and you are fully healed now you could develop traumas that would need surgeries, from gaping wounds to broken limbs and 3 degree burns.

This basically makes doctors way more needed than ever and adds fun immersion, i personally tested it and its not like you get crippled after getting hit once or twice, it takes quite a bit to develop traumas that need surgery.

This is a really big change to happen all at once. Do you have proof of this working well on another server?

Medbay is very fun when you get to play medbay, the problem is there’s large gaps of nothing to do and even when you have opportunities its usually very simple. This would def help as long as it’s not too unfun for everyone else.

oh holy shit, this would be great to counter facetanking megafauna. It also gives miners more reasons to go to med instead of just popping an all-heal pen.

the only problem I have with this is it would make killing and cloning a very appealing option only stopped by admins/rules. so if this were to happen, cloning would either have to be removed or have some significant semi-permanent debuff to discourage this, as well as making bodies no longer rot, just the organs within. at that point, I would be happy, you would have the option to clone them leaving a damaging debuff, or revive them with surgery which takes longer but doesn’t leave the debuff. it also gives an option for when large ammount of people die (I.e. blob) or when someone is “accidentally” set on fire you use surgery because there is nothing more pressing you need to pay attention to.

As long as we don’t get tg-chem and the other delightfully shit changes that came along with tg’s many medical reworks (cloning/sleeper removal for example) I ain’t against it but wounds should remain decently uncommon (still common enough that getting your shit kicked in many times in a row requires you to actually get some aid, but not enough that the first griflord with a bat can cripple you after a single knockdown)

Tbh cloning would be in a race against the clock for synthflesh if they are gonna fix broken bones like that

I still don’t think that is enough just to deter cloning with this system, it would be brokenly powerful if it just stays the way that it is.

We are not removing it thats for sure.

Though i dont necessarily get how would one NEED to deter people from cloning, if people with broken bones are, yknow, - alive most of the time.
