Though admittedly, our engineers are only slightly better at engineering.
I learned solars on charlie, but knowing how to do wiring is an important skill and everyone should learn it. Its not even hard. Solars are trash tho, a good engineer sets up a backup SMES and PACMAN room for backup power.
Oh I was the assistant in screenshots, after I informed the actual engineer that did this that his wiring is shit, he promptly retreated into maints.

Solars can power 80% of the station after one rotation which is 20 minutes. Them plus round start Sm with one emitter is enough.
I don’t understand why people want an SM producing over 9000 giga whats

As far as SM goes I really wish I could get into coding, I have a sick idea revolving around antimatter but uhh would take a collosal amount of work.

It’s no fun setting up the SM with the same old boring N2 setup - it’s much moreso to push the limits of what you can get away with.
My desire lately is to make omegarads with CO2 and O2 feed from atmos to get ALL THE CASH
Sadly, I tend to die before I manage that, for various reasons. Like abductors that give me brain damage. Which makes me move randomly. Which I discover when I am standing near the crystal doing a thing.
