I’ll take the plasma flood report

Actually I already looked into both of these incidents. I got on per @Oceanic_Fish requesting help and went stealth to observe the engineers for a bit before bwoinking them. I was still on when the plasma flood occurred and it was explained thoroughly.

Singulo happened because of a major fucky wucky with the TEG on pubby. There was an experienced engineer and a 17h engineer both working on the engine after it ran out of gas, the less experienced one accidentally contaminated the plasma being filtered out for the cold loop with oxygen and it spiraled out of control from there in a way that wasn’t recoverable.

The plasma flood occurred isolated in chemistry with a misfired grenade someone was putting together for testing. An obsessed antag was present when the grenade went off, with the objective to kill the chemist that set it off - the fire quickly exploded out into nearby rooms as the chemist tried to flee - it wasn’t a true plasma flood, just a very bad mix of accident and antag taking advantage of it in the moment.

@bloons3 is welcome to pull logs on one or both of these to verify if he wants to though. I didn’t pull logs from the plasma fire specifically, I took the word of the chemist, obsessed and others who had died in the fire as to what happened and they were in agreement.

All of medbay burned down, how can one grenade do that?

Fastmos makes the fire immediately burst outward into entire rooms, and plasma burns very hot making it expand quickly. When the fire went out, the chemlab itself still had residual plasma in it because it ran out of oxygen before the plasma finished burning. The rest of medbay ran out of plasma before Oxygen.

I’m not sure why a non antag chemist made a plasma grenade (if I understood correctly), but if you see nothing wrong then it’s fine I guess. Lock this or delete it, your choice.

Side note; thanks to the admin that offered to show me what plasma + new atmos would look like.

It was decidedly not powergaming to make and safely test grenades off-station or in remote areas of the station, so long as someone isn’t claiming to do this and then just stockpiling grenades and never actually testing them.

The grenade went off shortly after it was created, so the final intent isn’t possible to judge now.
@BusterTornado was the chemist in question and can probably explain better than I have.

Gave 'em a week to say something and they didn’t.

I already got enough out of them when I handled it in the game for my own needs, so I’m just going to lock this now.
